The GR65 before the Volcanic hill in Velay:
This route was created by the association Rhône-Alpes of the friends of Saint Jacques (GUIDE YELLOW), before seeing itself approved Road of Big Ride, GR65. It concerns the double tagging, that of the FFRP, the white and the red and the European tagging of Saint Jacques's roads, a yellow shell blue bottom today, directed facing the front and put by the jacquaire association.
The route takes out of Geneva by the South and takes the direction of Neydens then it crosses by Charly, Frangy, Yenne, Saint-Genix-sur-Guiers, Gillonnay, Côte-Saint-André, Chavanay, Bourg-Argental, Tence, Saint-Julien-Chapteuil and joined Puy-en-Velay.
